Come with me behind the brand as we get into how Modern Pearls actually came together.
This collection started long before any of you saw it. Months ago, I sat down with our team and passed around the very first samples, half in disbelief that pearls and simulated diamonds could sit together this well. From there, these pieces became part of my actual rotation — I even found myself reaching for them on a trip to Paris, no cameras rolling, just wearing what I loved.
The whole idea behind Modern Pearls is contrast: luminous pearls paired with brilliant simulated diamonds, across the same silhouettes you already stack every day — necklaces, hoops, stacked rings — instead of the classic single-strand look. Soft next to sharp, classic next to modern. We're calling it the Art of Contrast.
When it came time to shoot the official campaign, I wanted to bring in someone whose content I genuinely admire. That's how Ainur came into this — one of our favorite #MMGirls. She joined me and our photographer Payam for the shoot.
Styling Tips From This Collection
-
Pair, don't match. The whole point of this collection is contrast — pearl next to diamonds, soft next to sharp. Don't be afraid to mix textures instead of keeping everything the same finish.
-
Let hand-chains connect the story. A hand-chain like the Perfect Pearl Hand-Chain ties your rings and bracelet into one cohesive look instead of three separate pieces.
-
Pearls read differently in gold vs. silver. Gold warms them up for an everyday-luxury feel; silver keeps them cooler and more modern — pick based on the rest of your stack.
-
Stack rings the easy way. The Perfect Pearl Stacked Ring gives you the multi-ring look in a single piece if you don't want to commit to layering separately.
-
Size your hoops to your outfit's volume. The 1" hoops complement nicely into a daytime look; the 2" version is the one that shows up in photos.
